Case study: ASICS-EMEA

New cooperation model with suppliers based on the principles of Service Integration Management (SIAM)

Finding the right balance between innovation and continuity is the challenge of every IT organisation. For ASICS-EMEA, this was the starting point for developing a new vision in 2017. This led to a new cooperation model with suppliers based on the principles of Service Integration Management (SIAM).
Important in the new vision was to develop the existing EMEA IT organisation, with a focus on cooperation with the business units and with the aim of improving innovation power, standardising processes more and automating them. To achieve this, implementation and management of the IT environment would shift more to partners. At that time, however, ASICS had no partners, but mainly suppliers. "The new vision called for a new sourcing model with multiple parties working together on renewal, implementations and day-to-day services," says Ronald Hoogeboom of organisational consultancy Altijd ContinuITeit, which developed the new vision together with ASICS. "This fact alone brought new challenges. Because how do you manage it? How do you organise it? And how do you get the optimal value out of it for all parties involved?”

“How ASICS deals with you as a partner does give a certain intimacy that I haven't encountered before in this market," compliments Jan-Dirk Krispijn (NEG-ITSolutions). "At the same time, it has been a long process in which, in retrospect, we could have done many things differently. But the commitment of all parties is no less and we are still learning.”

NEG helps you decide whether the investment is worth it and whether better/more sustainable options are available. New or refurbished. It’s not just the price; the service, reachability and goodwill factor are also reasons for choosing NEG. They always score very well in all these areas.

So we can definitely recommend NEG, as we can ask them anything.
