Whether you use Digital Deploy on a project basis for migration or roll-out projects or for the daily management of your end-user hardware. We record all your wishes and business rules in Digital Deploy, after which scenarios and processes run automatically and efficiently.

Digital Deploy can be quickly adapted to your specific situation.

Scenario 1: Replacement after depreciation

  • The range selection is determined and recorded in Digital Deploy, including depreciation period

  • The information is linked to your CMDB

  • When the depreciation period is reached, the end user automatically receives an e-mail that equipment needs to be replaced

  • User chooses online from the validated range and confirms which equipment to turn in

  • If required, Digital Deploy deducts the residual value of the device to be handed in directly from the cost of new equipment or services

  • Digital Deploy automatically creates all necessary order and return forms (ownership/use statements) plus personal user manual

  • Digital Deploy sends invitation to your end user to schedule an appointment

  • The support employee receives notification for delivery and delivers the equipment to your employee at the desired date/time

Scenario 2: New end user employed

  • HR manager notifies Digital Deploy that you have a new employee

  • On-site support employee receives notification about which equipment, to whom and how to deliver

  • Digital Deploy, the lifecycle management tool:

    • sends the invitation to schedule appointment

    • reports which equipment has to come from (external) stock

    • reports which image is needed for this user

  • The on-site support engineer does the pre-installation and delivers the equipment at the agreed time

  • The on-site support engineer records all information in Digital Deploy

Scenario 3: End user leaves

When an end user leaves your company, Digital Deploy works just as easily, for:

  • Invitation and scheduling return date of IT equipment

  • Declarations of intake/damage of IT equipment to be taken in

  • Withdrawn equipment is tested, cleaned and prepared for redeployment

  • Confiscated equipment is included in the inventory

  • Automatic notification to HR

Scenario 4: Project-based deployment

Digital Deploy lends itself very well to project-based deployment in deployment, migration and upgrade projects.

  • IT manager selects, validates and orders new IT equipment online based on business rules

  • IT manager selects the desired software image per profile

  • End users receive an e-mail invitation to choose new IT equipment in their personal environment

  • After selection, the corresponding software image is immediately selected as defined in the business rules

  • If not already known, end users report which type of IT equipment they are returning
    This makes the return value known immediately and can be settled upon return

  • As soon as IT equipment arrives, end users receive an email to schedule an appointment in their personal environment for delivery of the new and return of the old IT equipment

  • At the agreed time, an on-site support representative hands the ordered equipment, with the correct asset tag and software image, to the user

  • Upon handover to user, the collected equipment and any damage is immediately registered and processed in Digital Deploy

  • User signs loan agreement for new equipment which is immediately recorded in Digital Deploy

  • All information and progress is directly accessible to e.g. the HR and/or IT department

  • Via link the CMDB is updated

  • Digital Deploy automatically sends an evaluation email (satisfaction measurement) after the event
